Oracle Hex-Map

The Oracle Hex-Map is a versatile tool for scene prompts and as an abstract oracle. This MOSAIC/CERAMIC-Strict artefact can be used independently or with dice.

To embark on your adventure, select any hex and place a Token on it. The Token can be any object readily available.

Utilize the Abstract Oracle Hex to enrich solo or shared-world play with a group. Share a single Token among yourselves, taking turns to move it to the neighbouring hexes.

Scene Prompt

Draw inspiration from the symbol within your current hex as a prompt for the scene. Once the scene concludes, relocate the Token to any of the six adjacent hexes.

Open-ended Question Oracle

When faced with a question that requires more than a simple yes or no answer, move to an adjacent hex and employ the symbol to stimulate ideas. Reflect on how the symbol could resonate within the ongoing narrative.

Incorporating Dice

If you prefer an element of randomness, introduce dice to the process. Roll a 1d6 and associate each number with a specific direction. For instance, a roll of 1 corresponds to North East, while 2 represents East, and so on, following a clockwise progression.
